My Strongly Held Beliefs..
If there is an afterlife, it doesn't change the fact that we won't physically have that person in our lives anymore. Mourning is coping with a loss, not coping with someone else's loss. Especially if there is no afterlife, the dead person doesn't know they're dead and feels no loss. We can say it's sad that they'll never get to do any of the things they never got to do but in the end it's only sad for everyone else, the dead person isn't sad - they're dead. do you agree?
This was just a way for men to make women feel inferior. do you agree?
It's hard to believe in something when you can't even get a straight answer about whether it's a vegetable or a fruit. how about you?
For a perfect, celestial being God seems to be very human. I think he's just a construct of human civilisation, just like the gods of Greek mythology. what do you think?
